Granny's Loveseat

Before

After

This gorgeous love seat belonged to my granny Evelyn and to be honest it had seen better days. It had been repaired a few times and was recently a bed for a cat and dog so it didn't smell too great either!
I knew that I wanted to keep it in my house but it needed a major face lift! First I sanded all the wood and painted a few coats of primer. Then I painted a few more coats of this awesome turquoise paint I got at Lowe's. Then I recovered the seat cushion with this vintage looking fabric that I got on sale at Hancock Fabrics in the remnants section. I had the paint left over from a chalk board project so all in all I spent $3.56 on the whole project!
